ABOUT ROB

rob_yellow.webp

Rob Davis is a community change maker.

Rob Davis is, and has been, a fixture in municipal, provincial, and federal politics for three decades. Notably, Rob was first elected to city council in the former City of York in 1991 as one of Ontario’s youngest elected officials.

Re-elected twice to council, Rob served as vice-chairman of the Toronto Transit Commission, Chairman of the works committee, Budget Chief, a lead member of the Tax Policy and Assessment Task Force, and Co-Chairman of Toronto’s Crime Prevention Task Force. His committee memberships are too numerous to list here.

In 2008 Rob Davis was appointed to be a Trustee at the Toronto Catholic District School Board (TCDSB). Rob Davis has served as City Councillor, School Trustee, Transit Commissioner, provincial candidate, and campaign manager for the Conservative Party of Canada and PC Party of Ontario.  Rob Davis is often called upon by national, regional and local media to comment on public policy and electoral politics. Rob Davis has published a number of Op-Ed articles in several  national newspapers.
